Camakasi blows start but wins easy
There haven't been too many reverses lately for Michael Halford and Shane Foley and the pair bounced back from Dalewari's neck defeat, as the even money favourite in the previous heat, as Camakasi scored in the Follow Dundalk On Facebook Maiden. Fri 07th Nov
We intended to keep up front and set a good pace. We got a toe and then Chris took over at the bend. It was a masterful ride by Chris. The owner Francis Campbell is from Coalisland and a good supporter of mine. We'll see where we go in handicaps, she won that off 70. It looks like she will stay further and she is progressing nicely.

She did it well. She probably hadn't really gotten her conditions up until now. She was a late starter last year and at home I probably misjudged her pace. She ran over seven and we stepped up tonight. She likes nice ground and Leopardstown do a great job. They produced a lovely kind surface.
A Oliver
