Batonnier has been declared a non-runner for this afternoon's Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The six-year-old chestnut, trained by Alan King, has knocked a joint.

Batonnier was prominent in the betting for the Neptune after winning a Grade Two at Cheltenham in January.
