Cadspeed Sends Many Home Happy

Forty one days after scoring over the course and distance by twenty six lengths, Cadspeed sent many punters home happy when sluicing up in brilliant style by fifteen lengths in the Thomastown Flat Race.

The French bred was ridden clear from over a furlong out by Patrick Mullins to account for Tom Mullins' Deise Dan

Winning trainer, Willie Mullins said: "Patrick was adamant that he wanted to ride him for speed. His first two runs I'd ignore as we had him for two years and he was backward and had little problems. He'll go to Cheltenham. Both of his wins have been on very testing ground. He shows plenty of speed at home and hopefully he'll go on better ground."
