Cee Bee set for Punchestown
Captain Cee Bee, a leading fancy for the Supreme Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham, will have his festival prep race at Punchestown next Sunday.
Trainer Edward Harty today revealed that the gelding, who is unbeaten in two hurdles starts, will line up for the Grade 2 Byrne Group Plc Novice Hurdle.
'Hopefully Captain Cee Bee will reappear this day next week in the Byrne Hurdle at Punchestown,' said Harty.
'He's in good form and unless it's bottomless he'll take his chance. He won't be fully wound up for it but it should leave him right for the Supreme Novices.'
The son of Germany has been on a break since running out an impressive 10-length winner at Punchestown back in November.
