Leading owner Rich Ricci believes Djakadam will be a major contender for either the JLT Novices' Chase or the RSA Chase at Cheltenham in March.
The five-year-old secured his second win from two starts over fences in a Grade Two at Leopardstown and Ricci feels the youngster's jumping will stand him in good stead at Prestbury Park.
"He's a beautiful jumper and I think he's a very good potential chaser," the owner told At The Races.
"I think he'll improve for his last run. I don't know if he'll run again or go straight to Cheltenham, but certainly he would be one for either the JLT or the RSA Chase.
"I think he'd be a danger if he goes to one of those."
Ricci also mentioned point-to-point winner Tarare as a potential "dark horse" for the Champion Bumper ahead of an imminent debut under Rules.
