Gold Cup non-runner Quel Esprit

Willie Mullins' Quel Esprit has been declared a non-runner in this afternoon's Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Winner of the Irish Hennessy Gold Cup on his last outing, the grey had been the subject of each-way support for the big race.

That leaves The Midnight Club as Mullins' sole contender in the feature event.
