Quevega is 1/2 for the OLBG David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle after market rival Unaccompanied was ruled out of the race by trainer Dermot Weld.
The Willie Mullins-trained mare will be bidding for a remarkable fifth win in the contest and could yet be the shortest-priced favourite at the Cheltenham Festival, depending on Sprinter Sacre's odds in the Queen Mother Champion Chase .
Unaccompanied was last seen chasing home Stan James Champion Hurdle favourite Hurricane Fly over Christmas, but what's described as a small setback will be enough to deny her a spot at Cheltenham.
"Unfortunately, she won't be going to Cheltenham," said the Curragh trainer.
"She's pulled a muscle ever so slightly and it will mean a week to 10 days' rest. She'd been in great form and it (the setback) is only ever so slight.
"She may run next back on the Flat in Listed class in late March, early April."
Unaccompanied, who was runner-up behind Hurricane Fly in the Istabraq Festival Hurdle at Leopardstown in December, had been second favourite at around 6/1 for the Mares' Hurdle.
