BoyleSports and Limerick Racecourse are teaming up to host one of the first Cheltenham Preview evenings of the year on Thursday, February 20th, as punters count down the remaining weeks until the famous four-day betting bonanza on the Cotswolds.

Hosted by the Racing Post’s David Jennings, the star-studded panel will include David Casey, Assistant Trainer to Willie Mullins, Upping the Ante’s Johnny Dineen, Gold Cup-winning jockeys Robbie Power and Bryan Cooper, and trainer, Shark Hanlon. The preview discussion will be recorded on the night by JOE media.

All proceeds from the evening will go to the Irish Injured Jockeys.

Sharon McHugh, Head of PR & Sponsorship for BoyleSports, said: “We can’t wait for what will no doubt be an evening of laughter, fun and most importantly brilliant insights and winning tips from our expert panel.”

Tickets will cost €20 (+€2 booking fee) with all proceeds from the event donated to the Irish Injured Jockeys fund. Guests will also be treated to a free bet, a free drink and finger food on arrival before the best in the business give their tips for the biggest meeting on the racing calendar.

The preview evening promises to whet the appetites of Limerick locals just ahead of the main event as this year racing fans will be able to enjoy the Cheltenham Festival from Limerick racecourse. The team at Patrickswell will host a seven-race jumps card including a Grade 3 Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle and Cheltenham Watch Party on Thursday 13th March. Attendees will be able to soak up all of the action of live racing and catch every race from Day 3 of the Cheltenham Festival on the big screen.
