Bromhead counting days to Cheltenham
Henry de Bromhead "can't wait" to tackle the Irish Independent Arkle Trophy at Cheltenham with Sizing Europe.
The in-form handler secured another Grade One success at Leopardstown on Sunday with An Cathaoir Mor, who just over a week ago was still a maiden over fences.
However, with Sizing Europe stood in his box at home, David Casey produced a peach of a ride to beat Sports Line in the Irish Arkle and now De Bromhead has his sights fixed firmly on Prestbury Park in March with his stable star.
"I feel very lucky to have them both in my yard, they are two very good horses," said De Bromhead.
"Sizing Europe is in super form. We've freshened him up since Christmas and he is looking really well in himself as a result.
"With the way he looks at the moment, I can't wait for Cheltenham and everything is all set for it now.
"An Cathaoir Mor will have an entry in the Arkle but he absolutely loves bottomless ground and it is very rare that it comes up like that there in March."
