Card heads Supreme entries
Cue Card heads the entries for the Grade One Stan James Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Last season's runaway Grade One Weatherbys Champion Bumper hero is one of 86 entries for the extended two-mile curtain-raiser to The Festival on Centenary Day, Tuesday, March 15th.
Earlier this season, the five-year-old slammed his rivals at Aintree and in the Grade Two Sharp Novices' Hurdle at The Open before finishing a gallant second to last season's Supreme Novices' hurdle victor Menorah in the Grade Two StanJames.com International Hurdle at Cheltenham in December.
Fellow Grade One victors Minella Class and Backspin are entered too and the Stan James Supreme Novices' Hurdle has also attracted entries from the best that Ireland has to offer with Grade One winners Zaidpour, First Lieutenant and Hidden Universe engaged.
Tizzard commented: "We're going to make a decision with Cue Card when we get to The Festival. I'm happy with him and we're just starting to warm him up again now. This week he's just cantering away and then we'll start him on some faster stuff."
Stan James has added the Supreme Novices' Hurdle to its portfolio, complementing its backing of Stan James Champion Hurdle on the same day
