Elliott confirms Envoi Allen for the Ballymore

Envoi Allen has been confirmed for his original target in Wednesday's Ballymore Novices' Hurdle after a course walk at Cheltenham by trainer Gordon Elliott.

Elliott tweeted this morning: "After walking the track and speaking to the owners I’ve decided to run ENVOI ALLEN in the ballymore novice hurdle on Wednesday."

There had been the possibility of a switch to Tuesday's opener, the shorter Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle, when the prospect of more testing underfoot conditions was in play.
