Kopek Des Bordes
Trained by Willie Mullins, Kopek Des Bordes could be nigh-on unbeatable once he starts to get the hang of things.
At the Dublin Racing Festival he was still too keen but nevertheless powered clear to win in fine style.
All of which points to the massive amount of latent ability this rising star must possess.
Majborough — Arkle Novices' Chase
Another Mullins hotshot, Majborough was a ready winner of the Irish Arkle and clearly has a serious engine given the way he belted some of the fences early on in that Grade 1 success.
He has Festival-winning form from last season and could be very hard to beat if he gets around unscathed.
Constitution Hill — Champion Hurdle
He’s won both starts since he returned and Constitution Hill completed his Festival preparations with a pleasing racecourse gallop at Kempton in late February.
A year ago, a similar workout saw a disappointing performance which led to him being sidelined for the major spring festivals.
A respiratory infection ended his bid for a Cheltenham defence before a suspected bout of colic curtailed his season.
“Good to watch, isn’t he?” trainer Nicky Henderson told reporters. “Frightening to watch, actually”.
Constitution Hill is the one they all must beat in the Champion Hurdle.
