Tony Martin reports Good Time Jonny to be in good shape in his bid for the Coral Cup at next week's Cheltenham Festival.

The seven-year-old gelding is gunning for a hat-trick after a couple of victories at Leopardstown in a novice handicap hurdle in December and then a valuable Grade B handicap hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival in February.

The trainer said: "He came out of Leopardstown well. We'll do a couple of bits with him and make our mind up for sure. He was really well at the weekend and we'll see what next week brings."

When asked if the drop back in trip from winning over three miles on his last start concerned him, he replied: "No, I don't think so. He won his bumper well and ran well in the Champion Bumper. He does stay and I think he has enough pace to travel in a shorter race.

"Hopefully all the boys (owners in America) will be there."

Good Time Jonny is a best-priced 12/1 for this Grade 3 assignment over two miles five furlongs.
