Good to Soft, good in places for Thursday
Simon Claisse, gave the following update of conditions at Cheltenham this morning on Channel 4's Morning Line: "I think it will ride pretty similar to the Tuesday course. We've put about three or four millimeters of irrigation on yesterday. That is the equivalent of two millimeters of rainfall. Down the hill and up the home straight is changed to good to soft. We are now good to soft, good in places.
"The forecast is for a little light rain this afternoon. It might not come until about four o clock. Mostly dry tomorrow with some rain coming after the Gold Cup. It is unlikely that we'll do any more watering."
