Punters Hope L´Ami Will Make Them Riche
As National Hunt Racing struggles, with the cold weather, punters up and down the Country are hoping the French will brighten up their Cheltenham Festival.
L´Ami and Moulin Riche, both trained by Francois Doumen, have been two ante-post positives on a day when many horses drifted. L´Ami, who finished an eye catching second behind Innox in the Racing Post Chase, has been a favourite for most punters since that race and is now 12-1 with bookmakers William Hill, for the Totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup, having been available at 25-1 just over a week ago.
Moulin Riche is another horse that is proving very popular. L´Ami´s stable-mate is now the 11-2 Favourite (from 13-2) for the William Hill Trophy Handicap Chase having initially been available at 16-1, with the sponsors, when ante-post betting commenced.
