Silver Sheen to miss Pertemps Final

Trainer Jessica Harrington has announced that her Pertemps Network Final contender Silver Sheen will not make Cheltenham next week following a minor setback.

The six-year-old gelding had won three races in a row including a Qualifier for the Cheltenham race at Warwick in January when getting up close home to deny Doc Penfro.

Unfortunately Silver Sheen has picked up a minor injury that will rule him out of next weeks Pertemp final @CheltenhamRaces #CheltenhamFestival

Former Champion Bumper winner Relegate trained by Colm Murphy currently heads the market for the Pertemps Final along with the Gordon Elliott trained The Storyteller who also boasts a previous victory at the Festival having won over fences in 2018.
