Ladies Well She’s been working better. We brought her over to Kelso and she jumped terrible, but the schooling did her good over there. She got no run the last day. She’s a much-improved mare this year. She jumped from fence to fence, and he said she loved it. She’s in at Wexford next Wednesday and she may go there again. If she’s alright, I don’t see why not. |

Caislean Gear He was the victim of the ground the last day in Limerick and it didn’t go according to plan. We were disappointed on the day, but there was a genuine reason why he didn’t go forward from his first run to his second. The ground was a lot nicer today and he jumped out and kept everything simple. We’ll enjoy today and make a plan during the week, whether we go for a winners' bumper or go for a maiden hurdle. He likes good ground and is very straightforward. We’ll enjoy him. |

Loughrea We held him up today, just to learn a bit. I entered him in the Galway Mile there yesterday and that's where we'll go I'd say. He's learning the whole time. He was a bit green in the Curragh and learned a good bit there. His work has improved since then, and I think he'll improve again. Hopefully he does anyway, it's only his third run. The Galway Mile is a big ask, I suppose, for an inexperienced horse, but he seems to have it. |

Pete's Dream He’s not a bad horse. He had good runs early on but lost his way a bit,. We’ll go for another one now. Down Royal was his first run back and we said he’d come on from that. |

Nermal The last day they didn’t go much of a gallop but three of them took each other on there and it was a big help to us,. He’s an okay little horse, he deserved that but he could be at the full of his handicap mark now. I'd say we’ll start popping him over hurdles. We’ll probably try him in another handicap but he could start schooling away there now. |
Curragh Fri, 26th Jun, 2026
Loughrea He is nice. Sam said he was in front too soon. He said he was pulling up and when the other horse came to him he kind of went on again,. I was putting it that he ran to a rating of 91 in Gowran. It was going to take a fair maiden to beat him today. He probably wants a mile-and-a-quarter as well. . John Houlihan owns him. He is a son-in-law of Pat Tallis who used to train. This horse is from the same family as that good horse they used to have, Acushladear. If anyone comes with money, he'll take it. It's hard for a four-year-old to win giving that much weight away. |
