Secret Rock We have him a while. He has a few problems but we got them sorted,. The girls did a great job with him. They nursed him really and got him in good form. He did it nicely there today, his work was good at home. It’s a new syndicate (Country Ways Syndicate). They are 28 lads from Kilmessan, local to us, so it’s great. He’ll mix it during the summer and could run on the Flat at Killarney maybe, for the boys. They’ll enjoy it anyway. |

Sporting Glance It was his first run back and he will probably come on a little bit from this, but we had him fairly ready. We always felt he would make a better chaser than hurdler and it looks like that now. Ben wanted to teach him and we were hopeful of a nice first run over fences, and I thought he jumped nicely and did it well. He'll learn plenty from this and loves that ground. He could go to Cartmel for a nice pot at the end of June and we will have a look at Galway too, as he has won there in the past. |

Hi Ho Idaho He is a lovely horse who is improving with every run and after Clonmel, we said we'd aim for here as his owners from Kerry and Cork. Brian Quill, from Listowel, heads the partnership and they are great new owners who have bought a couple of horses. Benny Walsh recommended him after his point-to-points, said he'd win plenty of races, so I went off his word and thankfully it has worked out. I think he'll keep improving, we'll aim for Listowel and he'll make a nice chaser next year. |
