Jamestown We gave him a big chance in Haydock, I thought he had a big chance. The draw wasn't kind to him, but I still was looking forward to running him in Haydock. We rate him very highly. It wasn't ideal obviously going to Haydock, and coming home, and coming straight up here in this heat. It was a maiden and to be honest he needed a run at that stage anyway. He's done well today and we'll have a look. He is (a premier handicapper going forward), he could be a Britannia horse depending on his rating. We'll see where he lands, there's a few (races). He's a nice horse anyway, there's plenty of nice races for him. |

Ballymagreehan When Mick (Halford) retired we got him. To be fair, Mick always liked him. He won last year and, we were delighted for him. He's for a great owner; loves the game, very enthusiastic owner. That's his second win for us now, so it's great. He's only had a couple of runs on turf, but he might just want that nice ground. |

Maggie Walker She is a lovely filly who Amy (Marnane, niece) bought (for €6,500) and my brother Ed recommended the stallion King Of Change, so between the two of them they came up trumps. I personally thought she would be a seven-furlong or a mile filly, but she showed class today. She hadn't done much at home but she had breezed really well, so it wasn't a surprise she won. The third (Desert Alchemist) also ran well as he was giving lots of weight away. It was a lovely first run, he was eye-catching and will be fine. |

Allsortz To be fair to him, he has grown up and become a man this year. He is getting better and better with every run and is really finding in his races now, and is doing things right. . He is a progressive sprinter, there is more to come as he is only a three-year-old and his half-brother (stablemate Sirocco Sands, finished second) didn't do too bad in the first race. It's funny, I actually think that Allsortz could make a lovely dirt horse as he pings the gates, he finds in his races and also has dirt racing in his pedigree. |
