She was in season here the last day, so we will put it down to that. Coming down the weights and Ricky said she did things easily. Better ground and she jumped well, she enjoyed herself, and that is half the battle with these fillies. She was tricky to get away at the start and different things, but she has plenty of ability. I think so (starting to put it together), about time now. We are fond of Downpatrick; it has been lucky for me. I have good ground horses, so it is a big help.

He missed the third-last, but he said he grabbed a hold of it again and away with him. I’m delighted for Paddy as well, as he got a bad injury last year in America and missed four months. It’s great to get him started again, as he’s with me a good while. I’ve a lot of summer horses and they seem to like top of the ground, long may it last. This fella likes here for some reason, he’s after winning three here now. We’ll have to keep bringing him back here.

Downpatrick Fri, 8th May, 2026 Finnians Row First-time blinkers obviously, we just said we would try them. We just changed the headgear as he seemed to lose a bit of interest, so we just said we would put them on him. I'd say that is probably the difference in him. The ground was a help - he ran in a bit of slower ground the last two times and it didn't suit. He didn't enjoy it and obviously today he enjoyed it and he kept going well. He (McKenna) said he just took off with him, he said he jumped super and travelled well. He got a lead and utilised it, and kept going.
