Micasso  He's a different horse this year, he's a much stronger horse. He's a different animal altogether. He chipped a bone in his knee, and we sent him up to the vet Eric Smith in Armagh and whatever he says, I would believe. He's called Micasso because the man (Michael Keogh) who bred him likes to paint!. He had a good run in Cork last year and we ran him again afterwards in Dundalk when we were trying to put another winner in Colin's (Keane) list. In actual fact, I think he burst. He had finished for the year at that stage. Seamie and I have been playing around for years, this is a hobby for me. This is our first winner together. As he said, he is riding in the German Derby on Sunday, and he just wanted a bit of confidence! He has it now! |
