I thought they had gone a fair clip for three miles and he didn't seem to lie up early on, but had the stamina to get home. We thought all along that he is more of a chaser, but we had jumping problems this year and it took a while to get those ironed out. It was then late to go novice chasing, so he'll do that next season instead, and I'm hoping he will make a nice staying chaser.
