Formscan By Alan Magee - NED IN THE PARK (5) may have found a decent opportunity to open his account over fences. The Tim Doyle-trained gelding made a winning reappearance over hurdles at Clonmel this spring and has subsequently been sent over fences including when runner-up behind the progressive Rockonliam at Wexford. Moylussa holds a similar level of form to the selection over hurdles and was placed on his only chase start at Roscommon this summer. Rosenborg and Seven Towers have a similar profile with jumping experience in point-to-points before winning a maiden hurdle.

She’s a bit of fun. We got her last year, she hadn’t won anything, and she just likes our place,. She’s very happy at home. She loves her work but when we got her first she didn’t like it. After about two months she sweetened up. I’d love to have got her when she was a five-year-old, it’s near the end of her career but it’s fantastic to get a win no matter what. He said that was the best she’s felt when he’s rode her, that she travelled unbelievably well. That she was on the bridle nearly all the way. She’s carrying me up the gallop every day, no wonder she looked back at Phillip and saw nothing!. She could come back here at the end of October. We’ll probably go to Listowel. Tom Maher is probably going to breed from her. I’m not interested in breeding horses, I’m too old for that. By the time the foal would be four, I’d be on a Zimmer frame!. We enjoy every win and Wexford has been very good to us over the years. She’s won here four times now. The left-handed track definitely suits her. Any time we’ve ran her right-handed, anywhere sharp, she wouldn’t travel.

That was brilliant and I'm delighted for Seamus and the family, who have put a lot of belief in me. They have stuck with me so long and I believe this horse is much better than what he has shown so far. I'm from Germany, have been in Ireland nearly 13 years and have a show-jumping background. I decided to change at the end of 2012 and came across Mark Molloy (trainer) who asked me had I ever ridden a thoroughbred and I said no, so stayed with him and fell in love with the point-to-pointers. I learned a lot from Mark and then moved to Henry De Bromhead where I also learned a lot, so then jumped and did it on my own. I'm mainly focused on point-to-pointers, only have a couple of runners for the track and am based in Nenagh, in Tom Hogan's yard. I have loads of young stock coming along and have plenty good owners so without them I couldn't do it. Seamus and his family are from Ballina/Killaloe and I have a couple of young horses for them too so this is brilliant.
