Permission was given for Shifter (GB) to be mounted in the chute and for Take A Stand (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference in the home straight involving the winner, Cabinet Maker (IRE), ridden by Richard Kingscote, The Mouse King (IRE), placed second, ridden by Dylan Hogan and Take A Stand (IRE), placed third, ridden by Neil Callan.
The interference was found to be accidental as shortly after turning in Take A Stand (IRE) became short for room when attempting a run between The Mouse King (IRE) and Cabinet Maker (IRE), due to Kingscote legitimately holding onto his line.
Shortly after at the 1 furlong marker, The Mouse King (IRE) lugged slightly right causing the rider of Take A Stand (IRE) to take a check.
Following the race, Frederick Larson the rider of Plastic Paddy (GB), placed fifth, reported that his saddle slipped approximately 1 furlong out.
