THE ELLA BURY ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) (DIV I) Permission was given for Ciotog (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The Starter reported that Nammos (GB) refused to enter stalls and was withdrawn at 5:28pm.
John & Rhys Flint were informed that the mare could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Approaching the final furlong, Ciotog (IRE), unplaced, edged right-handed at the same time as Redhot Whisper (IRE), placed third, on the outside hung left-handed resulting in Purple Sky (IRE), unplaced, being bumped and Hawaiian King (IRE), unplaced, to become short for room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Redhot Whisper (IRE).
