Additionally, we have also analysed accommodation prices in Benidorm, Spain, for a 5-night stay between 9th and 14th March 2025 for 2 adults - a favourite location amongst British & Irish tourists - with the average price on Booking.com at £485 (€558), on Airbnb at £439 (€505), and a combined average of £462 (€532).

When also taking into account transportation, the average prices of flights to and from Alicante, the nearest airport to Benidorm, on average, going to Benidorm during the Cheltenham week will cost British tourists £646 (€744), while going to Cheltenham will cost £2,635 (€3,030), which is 307.1% more.

Methodology

In total, 1,367 Airbnb & Booking.com accommodation listings in Cheltenham, UK were collected for the purpose of the 2026 analysis while 903 accommodation listings were collected for Benidorm, Spain

The dates were pre-set to 9th of March to 14th of March 2026, which was then compared to average prices of 5-night stays on the same days of the week in the weeks before and after the Cheltenham Festival (2-7 March & 16-21 March)

The accommodation search was pre-set for 2 adults.
