Cheltenham Festival: Which bookies are offering Non-runner No Bet?

The Cheltenham Festival is less than a month away now but there’s still plenty of life left in the NRNB betting markets. Non-runner no bet options provide a security blanket for horses who have multiple options at Cheltenham and are therefore very popular.
Willie Mullins is particularly infamous for waiting until the very last minute to confirm race targets so NRNB betting is a useful tool. Not all the bookmakers offer it though so we’re going to go through the list of major bookmakers that do.
bet365
Bet365 are offering both standard and NRNB market options and while the available prices are a tad shorter for the latter, there is some potential value to be found. Day three’s Mares’ Hurdle is a good example of this, especially if you fancy the favourite Lossiemouth.
She is available at 5/4 in the normal betting market and 10/11 with NRNB. It seems very likely that she’ll run in the Mares’ Hurdle, so you could take the better odds, but the safety blanket is very tempting and it’s not a bad price if you think Lossiemouth is banker material.
William Hill
William Hill are another major firm who offer NRMB market options for every race but the big difference is that they only have normal market options for the five biggest races of the week. Jonbon looks like an intriguing angle from a NRNB point of view.
A 16/1-chance at time of writing in the open market for the Champion Chase, the Ryanair is his ideal target but you can never guarantee that Nicky Henderson won’t opt for the two-mile option. He was runner-up in the race last year and 10/1 with NRNB provides a solid each-way option.
Betfred
Betfred exclusively offer NRNB betting on the Cheltenham Festival and they are offering 5/1 on promising Irish novice Talk The Talk for the Turners. He needed every yard of the trip to win over two miles at the Dublin Racing Festival last time out.
The Supreme Novices’ Hurdle is also a serious option so NRNB provides a good opportunity. Clearly he stays well and a step up in trip for the Turners Novices’ Hurdle could encourage further improvement.
Ladbrokes
If betting with Ladbrokes, both NRMB and standard markets are available and there are several possible opportunities to be found with that in mind. As previously discussed, Willie Mullins can be difficult to tie down and promising novice Mighty Park has multiple options.
The sky’s the limit for him, on the evidence of his wide margin success At Fairyhouse, and although the betting suggests the Turners is more likely, 7/1 NRMB for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle looks like a cracking bet.
