With Leopardstown's Sunday meeting being moved to Monday, the only racing we're likely to get in Ireland this weekend is Navan's Saturday card.

Navan will need to pass an inspection on Friday, but hopefully the intriguing seven-race fixture goes ahead.

The feature race is the Grade 2 Webster Cup Chase and stamina could prove key in the extended 2m4f event, with heavy ground likely to make it very hard work.

We've also got a Grade 3 novice chase to look forward to, so you won't want to miss the action.

Here are some of the key names to look out for at Navan and Bective Stud have two interesting runners in the big race, while Gigginstown have a couple of excellent chances across the card.

Owners: Bective and Gigginstown lead the way

Bective Stud's familiar white and green silks will be represented by 50 per cent of the runners in the Webster Cup and jockey bookings indicate that Found A Fifty is the first string.

He probably brings the best recent form to the table and could prove hard to beat.

Better Days Ahead was a fair novice chaser last term and has a pretty decent course record. Sam Ewing rides and the eight-year-old is at his best in testing conditions.

Gigginstown have the Willie Mullins-trained Moulin Labbe in the opener, but it's Gordon Elliott’s Jacob's Ladder who really catches the eye in the Flyingbolt Novice Chase.

He returns from handicaps in a very winnable Grade 3 contest.

Trainers: O'Brien and Elliott eye Navan success

Joseph O'Brien tends to come alive at this time of year and his sole representative at Navan is the 129-rated mare Galileo Dame. She remains a maiden over hurdles, despite the fact that she was narrowly denied in a Grade 1 juvenile hurdle last term.

Winning a maiden of this standard shouldn’t be beyond her and she was good enough on the Flat to place in Listed company.

Elliott could also have a successful day and San Hilario looks like the one to beat in the maiden hurdle at 15:00, as well as his aforementioned runners.

Colm Murphy runs Lovely Hurling, who was good over hurdles and should be winning over fences before long.

Jockeys: Kennedy dominance and Walsh’s sole ride

It's all about Jack Kennedy at the moment and he’s having a fantastic season so far, already notching 93 winners.

Those winners have come at a very healthy strike-rate of 22 per cent and it's excellent to see him injury-free for a sustained period of time.

He's got a strong book of rides, including Hygge in the opening juvenile maiden hurdle. He has finished third on both starts over hurdles and should be capable of winning at this level.

Meanwhile, Jacob's Ladder appears to be his best chance of a winner on the day.

Mark Walsh heads to Navan for just one ride on Saturday and you can certainly see why. Showurappreciation is very well treated on his chase form and could follow up his most recent success upon returning to hurdles here.
