Jonathan Sweeney has plenty of options on the table for Rushmount with the nine-year-old an easy winner when last seen at Thurles in December.

While all three of his career wins to date have come at the Tipperary circuit, the Shirocco bay could now be set for a trip across the Irish Sea, with the Brown Advisory at Cheltenham next month a possible target.

He is very good although I don't know if he will travel to Cheltenham. He has one entry in the Brown Advisory and if he were to run, he would go straight there.

Cheltenham Festival remains a possibility

"He is very good although I don't know if he will travel to Cheltenham. He has one entry in the Brown Advisory and if he were to run, he would go straight there," Sweeney revealed.

"He was a non-runner at the Dublin Racing Festival due to the ground and was then supposed to go to the Reynoldstown Novices' Chase at Ascot but I pulled him out as there had been a lot of rain expected at the course.

"The alternative is to come back to Thurles on March 5th for a novice chase and he could also possibly go for the Irish National."
