John Gleeson is counting the days until he gets the leg up on Panda Boy in the Princess Royal Challenge Cup Open Hunters' Chase at Cheltenham on Friday.

Martin Brassil's charge enjoyed himself towards the head of affairs in landing his two hunter chases at Thurles in January and Naas last month which sees him prominent in the betting for this extended three-miles-two-furlongs assignment.

Gleeson said: “We’re really looking forward to him. It’s great to be going over.

“He’s going over with no excuses, we know he’ll jump and enjoy the ground and has no problem with the trip.

“We’re going over all guns blazing and hopeful of a nice run.”
