Cheltenham cancels Hunter Chase meeting

The Hunter Chase Evening at Cheltenham, which was scheduled to take place on Friday, 1 May, is cancelled for 2020.

The British Horseracing Authority issued a statement yesterday stating that, whenever racing may return after the current total suspension due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, all Hunter Chases are cancelled up until the end of the season (which ends in May).

This in line with the cancellation of the remainder of the 2019/20 Point-to-Point season.

Customers who have already purchased tickets for Hunter Chase Evening will receive a full refund from Cheltenham Racecourse
