Tony McCoy is a notable member of a star-studded panel that will preview the Cheltenham Festival at the Mansion House in Dublin on Saturday night, March 12th. The evening is being organised by VCbet.ie, with all proceeds going to the GOAL South East Asia Appeal fund.
Joining McCoy on the panel will be fellow top jockeys Paul Carberry and Mick Fitzgerald, leading trainer Tom Taaffe, Mike Cattermole of Channel 4 Racing and senior Irish National Hunt handicapper Noel O´Brien. The panel will be chaired by Donn McClean of the Irish Field.
The evening will begin with a drinks reception after which dinner will be served. The panel Cheltenham discussion will follow dinner. Video footage of the chief Cheltenham contenders will be shown after which the panel will discuss how each race is likely to pan out.
Tickets cost €50 with all proceeds going to the GOAL South East Asia Appeal fund. All guests will receive a number of gifts, including a free €40 Victor Chandler account. A maximum of 200 people will be admitted, so the advice is to book early.
