I think she deserved it. I thought she was beat on the line but Ben said she just hit a good stride and had her head down on the line,. She’s been second so many times and it helped her being in the middle today, she loves that. I’m delighted for the owner Joan as she’s persisted, she had her through the winter. I thought that might be the end of it but she brought her back again this year. She’s a very well-bred filly so it means a lot for her to win and that could be it for her now as she’ll go breeding.
