I can’t say enough about this filly. She’s improved so much during the year. She was tricky at the start of the year, and you have to humour her, but she’s really got into the racing zone and built up lovely through the ranks. I thought she ran well on Champions Weekend but they went a bit quick in front and horses came from the back to win it. She had a lovely draw today and he rode her beautifully and got a lovely run through. She quickened up well. She’s tough, hardy and loves her racing. It’s her fifth win of the year. She’s in the December mare sale and it’s a great way for her to go. The lads get a great kick out of it. Ciaran (Kilkenny, All-Ireland winning footballer with Dublin) loves it and it’s a bit of a release for him. He’s got a few of his friends involved and they love coming to the races. They are after getting a great ride with this one. She has been very lucky for them.

She’s really taking her work well. She was hard to manage earlier in the year, and everything was a problem, but she’s settled into it now. I think the last time I gave Rory (Mulligan, third here) the wrong instructions. I told him to hold her up as I thought there would be plenty of pace. She’s a filly that likes to use her stride. Patrick’s 7lb was a big help today and I’m delighted. It’s not often you get a filly that can win four races. She seems to be improving all the time. There is a fillies' handicap here over a mile on Champions Weekend. We came here today to see if she was good enough for that and I think she deserves to take her chance in it now.

At the start she was a bit of a handful but is really taking her work well now and behaving well. The guy that rides her out and leads her up, Modi, does a great job. I’ve put her in here next week in a 0-100 handicap for three-year-olds only and we’ll see how she is over the next few days.

Ciaran Kilkenny (Dublin footballer and syndicate member) is playing against Meath at the weekend and got very excited today so I hope he didn’t pull a muscle or anything!. She is a big filly, has done very well from two to three (years) and ran well previously in Leopardstown. She had her ideal trip and ideal track, had cut in the ground and while it is a 0-60, we celebrate it like it was the All-Ireland. She races against older, hardened handicappers the last day so back at her own age today and hopefully now she can win again. The syndicate also had winners with Daamberdiplomat for me and I got them into another horse, so the strike-rate is good and they’re happy owners.
