Third and second on recent starts at Tipperary and Ballinrobe respectively, Coulstys Way got a deserved win to her name in the concluding Racing Again Here On June 9th Handicap.

Upped in trip to a mile-and-a-half for the first time this evening, the Patrick Magee-trained bay was sent off a well-supported 4/1 chance (touched 7s early) in the colours of Charles Cranston.

Settled behind the leaders by Robert Whearty, the E6,500 yearling purchase got a dream run through on the inner approaching the straight and soon led.

Travelling best from the two-furlong pole, she was soon ridden and found plenty in the closing stages, coming home two-lengths clear of the Joseph O'Brien-trained Cinammon Coco (7/1).

Ray Cody 's Enziya (8/1) was another two-and-three-quarters of a length away in third, while well-backed evens favourite (from 11/4 early) Onemoredance could only manage a disappointing fourth.

"She's been knocking on the door," Magee reflected.

"I think the step up in trip was the big thing. She just got into a lovely rhythm and stayed galloping really well. We're delighted.

"We've been waiting to step up in trip but the races weren't there.

"She got a lovely ride, he kept it very simple. He said he knew he was probably getting there too soon but it just opened up so easy and he had to go.

"Hopefully she stays in that bracket and we can get another one and go from there."
