Onemoredance earns a shot at Irish Champions Festival Onemoredance gave Johnny Murtagh a brace of winners at Leopardstown when taking the fillies' and mares' handicap over a mile. She was on good terms with herself off the front swinging for home and Patrick McGettigan rode her for more racing to the final furlong. Grey Summer Snow moved threateningly in second, but Onemoredance wasn't for relenting and refused to open the door. She kept on to win by two lengths at 11/2 from Aviatrice (10/3) who ate up plenty of ground in second, as Summer Snow (13/2) dropped to third. Johnny Murtagh said: “She’s really taking her work well. She was hard to manage earlier in the year, and everything was a problem, but she’s settled into it now. “I think the last time I gave Rory (Mulligan, third here) the wrong instructions. I told him to hold her up as I thought there would be plenty of pace. She’s a filly that likes to use her stride. “Patrick’s 7lb was a big help today and I’m delighted. It’s not often you get a filly that can win four races. She seems to be improving all the time. “There is a fillies' handicap here over a mile on Champions Weekend. We came here today to see if she was good enough for that and I think she deserves to take her chance in it now.” Mutagh's Floresta was an impressive winner of the Listed Vinnie Roe Stakes on the card.
