Dance delivers for Dublin footballer Onemoredance (2/1f) improved on a promising seasonal reappearance run last month when scoring on her second handicap start today, landing the Tipperary Handicap for Meath-native Johnny Murtagh and jockey Ben Coen. Carrying the colours of the Whyte Hickey Rafter Kilkenny Syndicate, Onemoredance met trouble in-running at Leopardstown but today, under Ben Coen, raced second, led entering the straight and scored readily from Cala Bonita. Murtagh quipped “Ciaran Kilkenny (Dublin footballer and syndicate member) is playing against Meath at the weekend and got very excited today so I hope he didn’t pull a muscle or anything! “She is a big filly, has done very well from two to three (years) and ran well previously in Leopardstown. She had her ideal trip and ideal track, had cut in the ground and while it is a 0-60, we celebrate it like it was the All-Ireland. “She races against older, hardened handicappers the last day so back at her own age today and hopefully now she can win again. “The syndicate also had winners with Daamberdiplomat for me and I got them into another horse, so the strike-rate is good and they’re happy owners.”
