Formscan By Mark Nunan - BRIGHT IDEA comes into this in good heart and looks the one to beat. A maiden winner at Killarney in May, he was placed in a premier handicap at the Curragh later that month and returned from a break with a fine second to the progressive Moon Daisy in a 1m4f handicap here a fortnight ago. That sort of good recent form stands out in this line-up. Choice Of Mine was second in a listed race here last year but has lost his form completely and previous course winner Estepona Sun, who’s been running to a fair level in maiden hurdles, has stronger claims although he hasn’t run on the Flat for nearly a year. Dalvey had some very good Stakes form last year and, while possibly flattered by his current mark, wasn’t beaten far in a decent contest at Bellewstown on his most recent Flat start.
