The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Maharajjah, ridden by Neve Bennett, placed third, and Red Hugh O'Donnell, ridden by D.S. O'Sullivan, placed fifth, where it appeared Maharajjah drifted left up the straight. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.S. O'Sullivan stated that Maharajjah was clear of him at the time. Neve Bennett stated that her mount was hanging but she caused no interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
