The horse deserves it and Jeff deserves it too. . He's been placed and he has gathered up a lot of prize money, and the horse deserves to get his head in front. . He'd be a good, fun horse if someone is going to claim him - we would be happy enough to hold on to him as well. . He goes on that surface and goes with a bit of cut in the ground, too. We have options with him and that might give him a bit of confidence.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the backstraight involving Belles Feuilles (FR), ridden by G.F
Carroll, unplaced, and Lauroline (GB), ridden by Nicola Burns, placed fourth, where it appeared it got tight between the two momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.F. Carroll stated that things just got tight for a few strides. Nicola Burns stated that her mount shied back from the horse on her outside but she did her best to keep straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
D.S. O'Sullivan, rider of Deed Pole (GB), trained by Cian Hughes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around up the straight
J. Kearney, rider of Jawhary (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check inside the furlong pole. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
J.A. Powell, rider of Beauty Bella, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room turning in
W. Joyce, rider of L'immortale, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight
D.W. O'Connor, rider of Zahee, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run from over a furlong out
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Belles Feuilles (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
