They went a good gallop and he got a nice lead. He’s a nice horse,. I suppose he was getting weight off the winners, which was a bit of a help, but it was still a nice performance on his first run. He picked up well. He’s a 70 odd rated horse on the Flat so we won’t be getting too excited but at the same time he’s a nice type and he’s by a very good sire too. To be fair to him when he won down in Listowel he was drawn very wide and he had to do it the hard way and won. He has plenty of size and scope so hopefully he can keep improving. The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. H. T. Hynes, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr K.P. Healy, rider of Expert Analysis, weighed in at 1.3 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had a drink of water after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record, they therefore cautioned him on this occasion

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the start of this race involving Expert Analysis, ridden by Mr K.P

Healy, where it appeared that Expert Analysis manoeuvered right causing interference . Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Expert Analysis had ran free, despite the riders best efforts, causing interference in the process and as such no further action was warranted.
