Permission was given for both Gustav Graves (GB) and Rogue De Vega (GB) to go early to post and for Maris Angel (GB) to wear a hood in the parade ring only.
My Turn Now (IRE), drawn 8, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start, involving Global Effort (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Connor Planas, the winner, Maris Angel (GB), ridden by Ryan Sexton, Rogue De Vega (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Cam Hardie and Let's Go Hugo (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Harry Russell.
The interference was found to be accidental as Global Effort (IRE) had lugged left-handed leaving the stalls, causing Maris Angel (GB) to shy sharply left-handed away from it, resulting in Rogue De Vega (GB) being badly hampered and in turn bump Let's Go Hugo (IRE), which was inconvenienced.
Following the race, Luke Morris reported that Colors Of Freedom (GB), unplaced, jumped awkwardly from the stalls and was slowly away as a result.
Paddy Bradley reported that My Turn Now (IRE), unplaced, jumped left-handed leaving the stalls.
Cam Hardie reported that Rogue De Vega (GB), placed fourth, suffered interference leaving the stalls.
