Permission was given for Rescue Mission (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Daniel Muscutt, the rider of Stenmark (IRE), placed fourth, had appeared to use his whip in a way which was unacceptable to the Stewards during the loading process.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Muscutt was suspended for 1 day for improper riding.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Hush Puppy (GB), unplaced, was slowly away; Jason Watson reported that Indian Spirit (IRE), placed third, hung right-handed and Daniel Muscutt reported that Stenmark (IRE), placed fourth, hung right-handed in the home straight.
