Formscan - MORE THUNDER (5) could be the answer to this competitive Group 1. He finished a respectable fourth last time out behind ZEUS OLYMPIOS (1) in the Juddmonte Summer Mile (Gr.2) at Ascot, having previously finished second in two Group 1 races in May and June. He gets the nod over PRECISE (10), who won the Irish 1,000 Guineas (Gr.1) in May and has continued to perform admirably, winning the Coronation Stakes (Gr.1) in June and finishing second in two further Group 1 races. RAYIF (8) won the Poule d'Essai des Poulains (Gr.1) on his penultimate start and is capable of much better than his latest effort behind THESECRETADVERSARY (9) in the Prix Jean Prat (Gr.1) over 1400m last month.
