Formscan By Mark Nunan - COUSIN KATE won a maiden here last month and finished clear of the remainder when second on her handicap debut at Gowran Park. That was over 2m4f on heavy ground, so she ticks a lot of boxes with the promise of more to come and it is encouraging that her trainer takes the mount himself. Great Bird went close over a longer trip at Clonmel and was disputing the lead when coming down at the final flight at Thurles last time. She has been given time to get over that mishap but is not sure to appreciate testing ground. Course and distance winner Miss Lia is in form but ground conditions may count against her. %0A%0A
