It's great for Sean (Cleary-Farrell, jockey). He's a real hard worker and a good rider. He's full-time in our yard and deserves all the opportunities he gets. She's a good mare and we might look to Galway now and see if we can get black-type with her. The owners (Yorkshire Rose Syndicate) got up at 3.30am this morning to come over from Leeds, so they'll be happy. She's improving all the time and loves that good ground. The Raceday Stewards informed W.P. Mullins, trainer of La Prima Donna, through his Authorised Representative that a repeat performance in the behaviour of his charge who refused to race, may render the animal liable to suspension in future

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S. Cleary-Farrell, rider of Space Tourist, concerning his use of the whip after the last hurdle where he appeared to use his whip despite being out on his own in front. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence the rider accepted that he had breached R10 and apologised for his actions

Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S

Cleary-Farrell was in breach of Regulation 10.3(c)(unnecessary use when race is clearly won) and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

A hurdle for four years old and upwards mares only that have not won a hurdle race before 1st May, 2022 and since then have not won more than two hurdle races
Weights - 4-y-o 10st 6lbs 5-y-o and up 10st 11lbs
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race 6lb extra Of two hurdle races or one value #12,500 10lb extra
Riders - Confined to Professional & Claiming Professional Riders who have not ridden more than 15 winners under any N.H. Rules from 1st May, 2022 to 29th April, 2023 inclusive. (Qualified Riders are excluded from riding in this race)
