Permission was given for Kind Of Blue (GB) to go early to post and be mounted in the chute, for Montassib (GB), Flora Of Bermuda (IRE), and Rayevka (IRE) to wear a red hood to post, and for Spy Chief (GB) to wear a red hood and go early to post.
Lazzat (FR), drawn 7, placed second, jumped right-handed leaving the stalls bumping and unbalancing No Half Measures (GB), drawn 6, placed fourth, which in turn took JAMES’S DELIGHT (IRE), drawn 5, unplaced, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of any horse.
The winner, Powerful Glory (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Beverley on 23 September 2025, where the colt finished last of five runners, beaten by 3½ lengths.
Richard Fahey explained that Powerful Glory (IRE) had benefitted from its previous run at Beverley, which was it's first run back after wind surgery.
His explanation was noted, Powerful Glory (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Kind Of Blue (GB), unplaced, had lost its right-fore shoe.
