Black Jack Supporters Finally Show Their Hand

Even if you don't particularly fancy a horse for a race, there is always a price when a planned ?lay' becomes a must ?back' ? and it appears that Black Jack Ketchum hit just that level when offered at 12-1 on Betfair for the Ladbrokes World Hurdle yesterday.

There is little doubt that Black Jack Ketchum has been on the top of most punters' 'get' list at the Festival, and he drifted out to 12-1 for the stayers' crown on Betfair ? though the serious sums were matched up to 8-1 - having once been backed at a low of 5-6 for the race.

But the tide has turned and he is now trading at 4-1 again; Inglis Drever is still the 7-2 favourite, but Jonjo O'Neill's charge is closing in on favouritism again.

?'Black Jack may have folded like a deck of cards last time out but his fans are back in force now and he may well be favourite again on our market before long'', said Eoin Ryan

To win the Ladbrokes World Hurdle ? Betfair bet: 7-2 Inglis Drever, 4-1 Black Jack Ketchum, 13-2 Blazing Bailey, 8-1 Mighty Man, 12-1 Labelthou, 12-1 Kasbah Bliss.
