Breedsbreeze for Ascot Saturday

Jim Lewis has his eyes on more glory at the Cheltenham Festival with Breedsbreeze.

The exciting novice is due to put his RSA Chase credentials on the line in Saturday's Sodexho Reynoldstown Novices' Chase at Ascot.

Lewis already has three Gold Cups and a Queen M other Chase in his cabinet thanks to Best Mate and Edredon Bleu but believes he has another live contender this year.

"We are going to go and hope he will put up a good show," said Lewis.

"He's improved a hell of a lot since his hurdling days but he was always going to be a better chaser.

"He's matured and is very genuine and his jumping is improving all the time.

"We are really hoping that we get there (to Cheltenham) and, if we do, it will be very exciting.

"He's so much better than we thought he was going to be, we took a chance and it paid off.

"We need to see what happens at Ascot and need to see if he comes out safely and how much it has taken out of him.

"We will go there (Cheltenham) with some hope - you've got to dream."
