Denman out to 5-1 for the Gold Cup on Betfair

ALL change on the Cheltenham Gold Cup front, and Denman is out to 5-1 for the race on Betfair after a somewhat laboured comeback at Kempton yesterday.

Kauto Star heads the Betfair market at 2-1, but the main mover is obviously Madison Du Berlais after his runaway win.

He has been matched a colossal high of 639-1 on the exchange, and at all rates downwards for some significant sums, and now trades at 19-2.

Betfair's Eoin Ryan commented: "Denman is a top price 4-1 with the traditional bookmakers but layers on Betfair are willing to offer a full point bigger about him retaining his Gold Cup crown, which is significant in such a mature market.

The biggest market mover is obviously yesterday's runaway winner Madison Du Berlais, who will have some of his big priced backers dreaming of a massive payout come Gold Cup day."
